As Southland's Northern California Division Leader, Andy Schlegel is responsible for the strategic development and overall performance of his region, ranging from project selection and sales growth to ensuring successful project outcomes.
Andy's successful career in the design and construction industry spans two decades of experience. He got his start as an engineer, designing HVAC and piping systems for a variety of projects, including cGMP bio-tech and pharmaceutical facilities, laboratory R&D buildings, healthcare (OSHPD-1), and standard office buildings.
In the middle of a large building retrofit project, Andy took his career to the next level by advancing to a project management position. He joined the Southland team in 2006 and throughout his tenure, Andy has had the unique opportunity to manage many of his own projects, while also acting as the lead engineer.
Andy received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from California Maritime Academy.
