Southland Industries provided HVAC, plumbing and fuel oil systems during the first phase of the 360,000 square foot Dupont Fabros Technology SC-1 Data Center Project in Santa Clara, California.
Constructed in two phases, with roughly half the square footage and load per phase, Southland worked to include an 8,000-ton central plant with a 500,000-gallon TES tank and N+2 redundancy during phase one.
- The project includes an 8,000-ton central plant with a 500,000-gallon TES tank and N+2 redundancy.
- The computer rooms consist of 240 CRAC units with redundant looped chilled water piping throughout.
- The fuel oil and urea systems consist of (4) 50,000-gallon underground fuel oil tanks and (16) 2,250 KW back-up generators.
