Northern California Division Ranks 12th on “Best Places to Work” List
Southland Industries’ Northern California Division was ranked 12th in the Small Employers category 51-100 employees (non-union) of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area 2009. The Best Places to Work in the Bay Area survey awarded 125 of the highest ranking companies. A total of 383 companies were surveyed and scores were based entirely on employee response. The questions measured employee satisfaction across the following categories: team effectiveness, alignment of goals, trust with coworkers, individual contribution, manager effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, work engagement and people practices. The award was announced and presented on April 29th at a ceremony hosted by The Silicon Valley / San Jose Business Journal and The San Francisco Times.
