Southland Industries Awarded Federal Bureau of Investigation Building 7

Southland Industries, one of the nation's largest MEP building systems experts providing engineering, construction, service and energy service solutions, was recently awarded the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Building 7 Washington Dorm Renovation in Quantico, Virginia. In addition to Southland, the design-build project team includes Trans Systems Architects and Mortenson Construction.

Southland will provide design and construction for the mechanical, plumbing, controls, and fire protection services for the 180-unit dormitory building totaling 90,000 square feet.

The project is currently in design, with the construction phase expected to commence in April 2015. Overall project completion is anticipated by October 2015.
