Garden Grove, CA
Southern California-based Southland Industries recently hosted its 15th annual golf tournament in support of the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) Children’s Foundation.
“At the heart of the Southland culture is a commitment to giving back to help communities move forward,” said Southern California Division Leader, Payman Farrokhyar. “Every year, we are honored to be able to fulfill that commitment through this tournament and our support of these two wonderful organizations.”
This year’s record-breaking event, which featured a fun-filled fiesta with authentic Latin dancers performing for the crowd, raised $94,127 in total for the two charities.
“We couldn’t be more grateful to all of our amazing volunteers, donors, attendees and sponsors,” added Farrokhyar. “Their generosity will have a profound impact on so many lives in Orange County and beyond. We look forward to breaking another record next year!”
