Southland Industries, one of the nation's largest MEP building systems experts providing engineering, construction, operations and energy service solutions, recently named Payman Farrokhyar Southern California Division Leader. Replacing Mr. Farrokhyar in his previous position, Travis Fletcher has been selected as Southern California Branch Manager of Envise, a wholly owned subsidiary of Southland.
With a goal of customizing an experience for each client in order to realize their specific goals, the two leaders aim to provide connected solutions that utilize Southland's vast range of in-house experts. In his new role, Mr. Farrokhyar will oversee Southland’s procurement of design-build work in the regional market, while ensuring successful project outcomes. Mr. Fletcher will be responsible for the business development, sales and operations efforts of Envise within the Southern California region.
“I’m excited to begin working with Travis in a new capacity—one that will allow clients to achieve their goals through our connected solutions, and utilize all of our relevant in-house expertise. If clients desire solutions that begin with design and installation and continue seamlessly through energy, automation, and mechanical service, we can successfully deliver that,” stated Mr. Farrokhyar.
“We believe in client partnerships, not customer sales. As trusted partners, we take a big picture approach that sometimes means a healthy challenge of the initial request to truly solve client problems and achieve bigger results. By deferring to the expertise of our connected groups and businesses, we can collaboratively provide clients with better informed, customized solutions,” added Mr. Fletcher.
Mr. Farrokhyar received a bachelor’s degree in math and computer science, with a minor in economics from Colorado School of Mines in 2004, as well as a Master of Business Administration in global management from the University of Phoenix in 2007. He participates in industry organizations such as the Design-Build Institute of America, ASHRAE, and Smart Cities Council.
With a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Colorado School of Mines, Mr. Fletcher has over fifteen years in the construction and real estate development industries. He is an active member of industry organizations such as the Urban Land Institute, Smart Cities Council, and Orange County Business Council.
